Welcome to our new blog series, Intern insights: growing with UiPath .

In this series, we’ll be sharing stories from our talented interns, highlighting their experiences, growth, and the unique journeys they’ve taken with UiPath. For our second edition, we’re excited to introduce Bogdan Bisceanu, a Field Marketing Intern, who has been making strides both personally and professionally during his time with us.

Hi all! I am from Bucharest, just starting my master's degree in Online Marketing at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

Here’s a little fun fact: during highschool I followed a path in Computer Science and thought that was right for me. That changed when I chose a completely different direction with my bachelor's program. Among the courses in “International Business” I had a few Marketing classes and I developed a passion for this area. Now, working in Marketing, I can surely say that this fits my personality way better than Computer Science.

Why did you choose UiPath?

"Since 2015, when I first heard of UiPath, I was always impressed on how a Romanian tech company can have so much success worldwide. I considered it a goal and a dream to be able to work here, and contribute to a company that has made such a significant impact on the global automation landscape.

Beyond its technological achievements, UiPath has a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and customer-centric approach that aligns perfectly with my personal and professional values. The company’s emphasis on empowering employees to grow and innovate, while also prioritizing ethical practices and social responsibility, makes it a place where I feel I can thrive and contribute meaningfully.

Joining UiPath is more than just a career move for me—it’s the realization of a dream to be at the forefront of technology, contributing to something that genuinely makes the world more efficient, productive, and innovative."

What have you been exposed to during your internship?

"During my internship as a Field Marketing Intern at UiPath, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a variety of marketing initiatives that support the company’s growth and brand presence. One of the key projects I was involved in was assisting in the planning and execution of regional events, which allowed me to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, customer success, and product marketing. One of the standout challenges I faced was the fast-paced nature of the marketing field in a high-growth tech environment. Balancing multiple tasks—such as content creation, managing event logistics, and analyzing campaign performance—taught me how to prioritize effectively and stay organized under pressure. Additionally, working closely with regional teams helped me understand the importance of localization and tailoring marketing efforts to different markets and audiences."

What’s been your biggest learning or takeaway from this experience?

"On a personal level, I’ve learned the value of continuous learning. The fast-paced nature of the role pushed me to constantly stay curious and seek out new knowledge, whether through understanding the latest RPA trends or mastering new marketing tools. Overall, the experience has reinforced my belief that growth comes from embracing challenges and constantly pushing beyond your comfort zone."

Any tips for maintaining a work-life balance during an internship?

"Maintaining a work-life balance during an internship can be challenging, especially when you're eager to learn and make a strong impression trying to prove your worth in the company. What really helps me is bonding with coworkers. This makes working seem less like a chore and more of collaborating with some friends to complete some goals. This makes me leave the office everyday with a smile on my face and the sense that I have made progress."

Why should others consider an internship, and what would be your advice to them?

"Internships are great: you get a trial of working in a huge company for a limited time in which you can tell if you are compatible with the company, the job role, and the overall community.

These opportunities also provide a real-world perspective on your chosen industry, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, learn from professionals, and understand the dynamics of a workplace. I think everyone should accept an internship opportunity, not only for the working experience, but for testing themselves in different environments. And who knows, maybe after the internship you will want to continue with the company and will be offered a full-time employee position.
