State of the Automation Professional Report 2024

Welcome to the 5th annual State of the Automation Professional Report 2024.  

Each year in UiPath Community we conduct a comprehensive survey of automation professionals to understand how organizations are staffing for and supporting this industry. We also study what automation professionals think about their jobs, their experience as they transition to different roles, and what the future holds.  

Some things have remained consistent each year. Automation professionals are satisfied and feel optimistic about the future, and AI is becoming more entrenched in automation processes, with 90% of automation professionals ‌using or planning to use it within the coming year. 

Our sincere thanks to the 1,909 automation professionals and students who participated this year from across the globe, representing a broad range of industries. We couldn't have done this without you.
