Client Overview
Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Pakistan’s leading bank, was the first commercial bank to be established in Pakistan in 1947. Over the years, HBL has grown its branch network and maintained its position as the largest private sector bank in Pakistan with 1,700+ branches and 2,300+ ATMs globally. HBL remains staunchly committed to improving the quality of life of its clients, staff, and the people of Pakistan. The bank’s strategic pillars—Growing Pakistan’s Economy, Shaping the Financial Industry, and Achieving Regional Relevance—continue to guide it in its pursuit to be more than just a bank.
Habib Bank Limited's automation initiatives, starting with the successful automation of customer screening in the compliance department, have paved the way for broader enterprise adoption of automation technologies. Today, the bank screens 80,000 new cases per month, with bots performing 95% of all new customer screenings with near-perfect accuracy. The team has created 50 robots managing 135 processes across the business, with plans for more.
Wherever a manual, repetitive task exists, I’d like to automate it, freeing staff for more challenging and rewarding roles.
