The next frontier for the automation community: celebrating 3 million people

How do you envision technological advancement? Our answer is through people. Incredible human beings that choose to grow professionally and offer their active support to many others around them. Meet and greet the UiPath Community — the ones who choose to inspire others, collaborate, and build automations for businesses and societies around them, while they deliver useful enterprise automations.

We celebrate three million UiPath members across our ecosystem, and we want to take a moment to reflect and appreciate the greatness that this incredible UiPath Community achieved and shared with all in the software automation space.

When it comes to numbers, we exchanged more than 1.1 million conversations with 200,000 unique topics. As community events, we hosted more than 2500+ unique meetups, community days, hackathons, and DevCon editions that brought together more than 400,000+ registrants. Just if we count monthly engagements, we have millions of pageviews and touchpoints in the open and large automation community through our UiPath Forum.

Part of the great DNA of the UiPath Community is the strong sense of contribution and co-creation, and in this area, we had more than 4,000 experts as speakers and 1,800 hosts or moderators for all the events and engagements we created. We are spread across more than 85 cities with local communities and professionals ready to offer their support. And this is what gets us closer to what all these numbers mean.

While we talk numbers, we also want to emphasize the kind of value and support we get to offer in the UiPath Community.

• Accessibility through the Community Edition version of the UiPath Platform to explore, test, and get to practice and learn. Access to free UiPath Academy courses and learning paths.

• Workforce readiness programs that we run to help professionals get certified and have better chances to get jobs in automation. Just like, the AI Associate Developer Series engages professionals to learn the foundation of using AI capabilities in their automation roles and get the chance to certify at the end of the program. All the time, there is access to free Academy courses and learning paths.

• Tailored-made initiatives like Women in Automation to inspire more and more women to join the profession and get the support they need as leaders in the tech space. Programs dedicated to veterans or to different professional associations like accounting.

• Large programs and partnerships dedicated to students. Each year, thousands of students get access to the UiPath Platform and get hands-on support from Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) and experts in the community to ensure they acquire the skills that will shape their future careers and jobs. Together with DreamToSucceed organization, many Latin community members get enabled into using automation, 20,000+ students in Tamil Nadu, India, get exposed to the use of automation, and Academy's learning path on setting their foundation in RPA, or the community leaders in Nigeria and across African countries offer hands-on session to help students upskill.

While the community is inviting and open, there is a force that pushes many experts to the edge of technological advancement.‌ There are many innovative use cases that get developed through open hackathons that we run, use cases that get shared through the UiPath Community Blog, reusable components that get created on the UiPath Marketplace, and insightful product feedback that gets to shape the UiPath Platform.

One of the groups that gets to push the technological advancements is represented by the MVPs, who show strong expertise in using the technology and high influence and evangelism among their peers in automation.

We are at a pivotal moment in technological advancement: the evolution from RPA to agentic automation as it ‌was already shared at UiPath FORWARD + TechEd and this comes with a great opportunity to shape the automation professional community further.

While we celebrate three million community members in the large UiPath ecosystem, we also embark on a new journey that will shape the future of agentic automation. And we already see this happening with the help of our community MVPs who shared their use cases on stage at FORWARD + TechEd.

It’s exciting to have a strong foundation of three million professionals and students that get to contribute to how technology will shape the roles in the automation Center of Excellences that will develop beyond automations, more of the agentic solutions, robust end-to-end solutions that use AI or integrate more and more technologies with the help of agents.
