Welcome to our new blog series, Intern insights: growing with UiPath. In this series, we’re sharing stories from our talented interns—their experiences, their growth, and the unique ways they’ve thrived at UiPath. For our fourth edition, we’re excited to introduce Sahitya Vyshnavi Miriyala and Soumyadeep Das, two Associate Product Support Engineers who started as interns and found their way to full-time roles.

Why did you choose UiPath?

Sahitya Vyshnavi Miriyala: "I was initially drawn to UiPath because of its reputation for innovation in automation and AI, and its vibrant company culture. As an intern, I witnessed firsthand the inclusiveness, learning opportunities, and support UiPath provides to its employees. It was this unique blend of professional challenges and a nurturing environment that encouraged me to transition to a full-time role after my internship."

Soumyadeep Das: "When I first interviewed with UiPath, I didn’t know much about the company or its products. But since our college required us to attend all visiting company interviews, I gave it a shot. A bit of research later, I discovered UiPath had a fantastic culture and a strong reputation in the industry—definitely something I wanted to be a part of!

I’ve never been someone who enjoys routine, repetitive work. I love challenges and solving new problems every day, which made the UiPath Product Support team a perfect fit. Every day brings fresh issues to tackle, and that variety keeps things exciting!"

What areas or projects did you work on during your internship?

Sahitya: "I had the opportunity to work on resolving customer challenges related to the UiPath ecosystem, from automation workflows to infrastructure setups. I also gained hands-on experience with advanced UiPath tools and contributed to solutions that directly impacted business processes. These experiences allowed me to apply my skills in real-world scenarios, which sparked a keen interest in growing with the company as a full-time employee."

Soumyadeep: "My internship was packed with hands-on experiences. I worked on projects related to UiPath Studio, UiPath Robot, and UiPath Orchestrator components. One of the most engaging experiences was troubleshooting sessions for Orchestrator—our trainer would intentionally "break" the system, and we had to figure out how to fix it. It was like solving a puzzle every time! These sessions helped me sharpen my problem-solving skills and deepened my interest in a full-time role."

What has been your most significant learning or aha-moment?

Sahitya: "The most significant learning was understanding how impactful automation can be in driving innovation for businesses. An aha-moment for me was completing the UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Associate certification during my internship. It highlighted how much I had grown, both technically and professionally, within a short timeframe. This journey reinforced my confidence in solving complex challenges and contributing effectively to my team."

Soumyadeep: "One of my biggest lessons—both professionally and personally—was understanding the power of humility and an open mind. In customer support, listening and being open to different perspectives are key. I quickly realized that approaching challenges with curiosity and confidence made me a better problem-solver and a stronger team player."

Why recommend an internship at UiPath to other students?

Any advice for interns considering a full-time position with UiPath?

Sahitya: Stay curious and don’t shy away from challenges. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. Build strong connections with your mentors and teammates—they’ll be your biggest guides in shaping your career. Most importantly, embrace the journey. You never know where it might lead!"

Soumyadeep: "Ask questions. Lots of them. Don’t hesitate to reach out to people—everyone here is approachable and happy to help. Be proactive about your learning and make the most of your time as an intern. The more you engage, the more you’ll gain from the experience!"
